The White Rabbit - trainer in session

I'm Alicia Taylor, the founder of The White Rabbit.

I'm a qualified beauty therapist, educator, life coach, and mentor, and I've spent over a decade training and developing people who have gone on to build successful, sustainable beauty businesses of their own.

I qualified as a beauty therapist in 2007. I worked in salons, ran my own salon, and quickly realised that while I loved the industry, what I loved most was teaching. Training others, helping them grow in confidence, skill, and self-belief, became the part of the work that genuinely mattered to me.

Since then, I've trained therapists who have gone on to open salons, grow loyal client bases, and create careers that support both their income and their quality of life.

What I noticed early on is that most beauty courses focus almost entirely on the how-to. Technical skill is essential, and my courses absolutely cover professional excellence across all required areas. But technical skill alone doesn't build a successful business.

My work goes further. I teach the human element: purpose, client connection, communication, emotional intelligence, and how to give your business its own personality and flair so it stands out rather than blends in. I teach therapists how to build trust, retain clients, and create meaningful experiences, not just treatments.

I grew up in Berkshire, England, where I attended Luckley Oakfield School, before continuing my education at the American Graded School of Brazil in Sao Paulo. Being educated across different countries and systems gave me a broad worldview, strong people skills, and the ability to work comfortably with individuals from very different backgrounds.

I have lived in England, Brazil, and South Africa, and travelled extensively through Germany, France, Poland, Greece, the United States, Dubai, and Bali. One of the most impactful experiences of my life was visiting Auschwitz and the Oskar Schindler Factory Museum in Poland, which deeply shaped how I understand history, human behaviour, power, suffering, and resilience.

I am a single mother to two sons. My eldest joined the British Navy at 16, and my youngest is 9. Parenting has strengthened my leadership, emotional intelligence, and ability to manage responsibility under pressure.

Empathy, Insight & Intuition

Experiences in my adult life, including navigating domestic abuse and narcissistic abuse, have given me a deep understanding of human suffering. Rather than defining me, these experiences strengthened my empathy and heightened my intuitive abilities. They sharpened my awareness of emotional dynamics, power imbalances, and unspoken behaviour, allowing me to understand people with clarity, sensitivity, and depth.

In mid-life, my intuitive and mediumship abilities became more pronounced. I approach this aspect of my work carefully, ethically, and without performance. It supports my ability to read people and situations accurately and to guide others in a grounded, practical way.

Alongside my professional work, I also spend time supporting individuals in impoverished and marginalised communities who would not normally have access to intuitive or reflective guidance. This work is undertaken quietly and respectfully, and reinforces my belief that insight, support, and personal growth should not be limited by circumstance.
